Sharon Oliphant carries her three-year-old daughter's stuffed animal "Big Bunny" out of her home in Lake Worth, Florida, early in the morning of November 11, 2018. Hours earlier, the Oliphant's home had caught fire. Sharon's husband Elijah Oliphant said the fire started when an electric bike battery exploded, giving the couple and their two daughters about 30 seconds to get out of the house. They didn't have time to grab their wallets, phones or shoes. Later, when their daughters had gone to sleep at Elijah's mom's house a few blocks away, Sharon and Elijah had a chance to briefly search their home, trying not to inhale potentially dangerous fumes.

I just didn't’ accept that reality that it wasn’t possible without trying. Some people have this very throwaway attitude in life in general. I’ve always liked taking old things and bringing them back to their original beauty."
