"Wounds of Whiteclay" is a two-semester student project from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. James contributed research, photography, a light-painted photo essay, video, time lapse and countless hours of driving. The project won the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Human Rights Grand Prize.
James contributed 9 still photos, 7 video clips, the primary audio and co-editing.
