James' team multimedia experience demonstrates his ability to collaborate with other journalists on award-winning projects, from research and planning through post production.


"Wounds of Whiteclay" is a two-semester student project from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. James contributed research, photography, a light-painted photo essay, video, time lapse and countless hours of driving. The project won the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Human Rights Grand Prize.


"Culture of the Climb" took 7th place in Hearst Team Multimedia. James was the primary contributor to the video.
